Chocolate Sweet Peas...

Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands - and then eat just one of the pieces. -Judith Viorst

This week's Basic Grey Challenge is to make a card inspired by a favorite chocolate....I LOVE Strawberry Creams, so I went with a dark chocolate and Pink color scheme.
I just received the new Flourishes Sweet Peas set. My Mom loves them and she is an April baby, so I thought it would be perfect. For this card I used Stella Ruby and some pink Textured CS from DCWV. The flowers are watercolored using Rose Red and Wild Wasabi reinkers. The little crystal Flourish is a new product in stores from Zva Creative!
I even pulled out my sewing machine!!!
For the inside I stamped the sentiment on Watercolor paper and cut it out with a Scallop Oval Nestie Diw, then sponged it and layered it on more BG paper...
