If you make friends with yourself you will never be alone. -Maxwell Maltz
FRIDAY!!! WOO HOO! :) So today is not only the end of the week but also Blogger's Challenge day. This week's challenge was Alter It! I took a little box I have had sitting on my desk and made it into a little Graduation party Thank You holder...I made some little 2 3/4" Square Thank You cards and I will give this to a friend's daughter at her Graduation party so she will have Thank Yous for her $$$...errr, gifts! ;) I used the Color Challenge from Embellish Magazine (their challenge is Red, Black, White & Kraft for a Celebration,) I used Kraft as the base of all my little cards for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges Kraft Based challenge and I think this also works for Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge (End of Year School Celebrations) *check the bottom of my post for links to all the challenges*
I used my Fave Papertrey stamp set for the flower and just added a gem to the center of each one, no coloring at all. The top of the box was a scrap of Black paper that I had punched ages ago...glad I didn't throw it away! :) I added some layers and a ribbon, then colored a Prima flower with a Copic Marker to match the rest of the project. Topped it with a PTI Vintage Button and Viola!
Here is a close up of the box top...
