Fall Fairy...

No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace, As I have seen in one autumnal face. ~John DonneThis week's Woodware USA challenge is Paper Piecing. I really like Paper Piecing, but I Rarely remember to do it. LOL I have have a tendency to pull out my Copics and color everything without thinking about any other options. The Embellish Magazine challenge right now is also Paper Piecing, along with a color combo, so I decided to combine the challenges.

I paper pieced the little Fairy's vest and pants, then fussy cut the whole thing out and added it to the main panel on the Fall To Layout sketch. The scallops are made with My Favorite Things Felt and Scallop Die.

Woodware is Sponsoring this week's Flutterby Wednesday Challenge, so make sure and hop over there and make something! (Fairy, Butterfly or Angel...with Buttons)

I really like the Fall feel of this, even without the standard Orange and deep reds I still feel very Fallish looking at this. :)
