Clover???

If you only do what you know you can do- you never do very much. -Tom Krause

I have been staring at my stamps, try to Make them give me an idea for a Very Big ATC swap....I don't mean big as in Lots of ATCs....I mean Big as in, some of my Stamping Idols are in this thing...and I have 2 weeks to come up with a design and execute it flawlessly...... AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, as I am glaring and staring at all my stamps, waiting for THE idea to jump out and grab me, I see my Rhonna Farrer $1 stamp....it is a trio of flowers, Right? Flowers! Or.....is it a bundle of CLOVER?????

I decided to transform those flowers, I stamped them in Certainly Celery, then outlined them with a gold pen, adding a few extra dots along the stems. I then sponged the edges, printed the sentiment from the computer and matted the image with a Very thin Black layer, then pierced the corners a tad. The background is stamped with Paper Salon Fancy Flourises images in Celery on Bazzill Textured paper, also touched up a bit with the gold pen.

  1. This is fabulous! I've been staring at that stamp for a week now trying to figure out what to do with it. Just love how you outlined it and made it look like clover!

  2. This is brillant...plus I love the muted greens (instead of those crazy bright greens for St. Pat's!).
