The quality of imagination is to flow, and not to freeze. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
I actually stamped today!!! WOO HOO!!! I got soooooo much done! (None of it was what NEEDed to get done, but, OH WELL.)
I got this fairy stamp from a dear friend who knew I had been down, she sent this to me (and a cuttlebug folder) to brighten my day....and it did!!! The image is stamped with Timber Brown Staz-On, then watercolored with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an aquapainter. The base of the card is stamped witht he flourish from Delight in Life, then one of the butterflies from Take Three. The patterned paper layers are Basic Grey Blush Line and DCWV Once Upon a Time.
I went to the Archiver's Grand Opening yestaerday and saw a card similar to this, but of course I forgot my camera, so today I winged it, the idea of the ribbon loops were perfect for the Limited Supply Challenge this week: Ribbon Scraps. The paper on this is a textured Bazzill card stock and Basic Grey Blush line of atterned paper.
I am in an ATC swap and this was my first prototype...Good, but not IT, back to the drawing board. The base layer of the ATC is more Bazzill CS, the printed paper strip is Wild Asparagus. I stamped the leaf from Do The Hula on watercolor paper, then ran a damp watercolor brush over the ink to soften the look.
