Symbolizing eternal hope, the wreath goes 'round and 'round, And where it starts or ends cannot be found. Woven of things that grow - for life, and hung for holiday delight. -Anon
WOW, Hot Glue is....ummmm.....HOT!!! :)
I spent hours gluing on little loops of paper and peeled Many layers of glue and skin off my fingertips, but it is done!!!! I CASEd a Gorgeous wreath from Nutters on SCS, mine does not measure up, but that's alright, it works for my house...if I was to make them for anyone else I would be a bit more careful of placement.
ETA: This is a super simple project as long as you have time...
I cut 4 sheets of paper into 6"X1 1/2" strips, made a loop and stapled the end flat (Make sense? not a full circle, just a gentle fold in half, don't crease!) Then glue the flat stapled end to the wreath form with a hot glue gun, I bought the green extruded kind not the white foam kind, the glue sticks better. I think having some kind of pattern might be better than my random "Glue it where it fits" method, but in the end it worked out. I used a few left over pieces to cover the back so it was flat but still pretty, then added a paper ribbon and shaped a paper clip into a hanger on the back.
Wow! That is awesome!
