Father's Day Card...

Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad. -Proverb

After procrastinating until the Very last day on Mother's Day cards I thought it would be a good idea to get a jump on Father's Day.

I broke out my new Thoughts of Father set from SU and some Basic Grey Boxer paper.

The belly Band is dampened CS that I crumpled up, then straightened, dried and then sponged with ink. For the bottom panel I used my scor-pal and scored a diamond pattern, then went over the lines in one direction with a white Gel Pen...just adding dashes, not a solid line. the "Happy" is from the Kitchen Sink Stamps set Turkey Trot and the "Father's Day" is an omitted part of the sentiment included in the SU set.
