Experience the Dream...

Those who do not dream experience only a fraction of what life has to offer. -Mike Hutchinson

A friend of mine is leaving her job to begin Student Teaching and finish her classes to become a real life School Teacher (she has more courage than me!) I was asked to make a card for all our co-workers to sign, so I reached for Simply Stated by Fancy Pants...I love the main image in this set, but it is pretty big, so it doesn't fit well on an A2 sized card. I like it much better on a larger card. This one measures 5 1/8 X 7 1/8, I cut it to fit in a an envelope I had sitting around. :)

I used Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #20...I love these colors together! I don't have Pink Pirouette yet, so I just added a light pink to the flowers and a small piece of the new Basic Grey paper "Eva" is peeking out behind the Chocolate Chip layer behind the flower.

Aren't these colors Pretty!

I ran my celery and a strip of Vanilla through the CB with the Textile folder, I sponged the edges of the vanilla strip with Regal Rose ink just to give it a little pop. The sentiment is a rub-on I have had for Ages. I'm not sure if you can see it, but the vellum piece is stamped with the flower image in Pretty in Pink...

Supplies:
Stamps: Simply Stated (Fancy Pants)
Paper: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Vellum, Eva (Basic Grey)
Ink: Brilliance Grphite Black, Copic Caio (R32, R20, G07, YG63, Y17)
Misc: Grosgrain Ribbon, Pewter Brads, Rustic Red Shimmerz Glitter Paint,

Thanks for stopping by!!
