Spice Jars...

The herb that can't be got is the one that heals -Irish Saying

I buy all my dried herbs and spices from the bulk section...I recommend it to anyone that has the chance!!! I can get a Spice Island size jar full of most herbs for lest that $1. It is also Super Fresh! I recently found a few plain jars with shaker tops and plastic lids to put my Basil and Parsley in (they had previously been in cheap plastic jars.) I have been wanting to put labels on them, but hadn't wanted to print them off the computer. I was Saved by my recent shipment of
JustRite Stampers!!! I am so pleased with the final result! Simple but elegant (they are going in my spice cupboard so I didn't want them too fussy.)
I used the 1 3/8" Round Monogram Stamper Kit without a border, the medium "Special Occasion" font and the Small Letter Set. When I had stamped the words I went back and added one of the little ornamental designs with the Monogram Stamper. After that I just punched them out, sponged the edges and layer it on another punched circle of DCWV Old World Paper.
I did add one small strip of paper around the jar because...well...because I am a paper crafter and I can not leave well enough alone. :)
