It is a long and sad story, but suffice it to say that Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost is absolutely The most emotional poem for me...I get tears in my eyes just thinking about this poem, it keeps my Grandfather close to my heart.
I was looking through my Google Reader the other day and what should jump out at me but a post titled Stopping by the Woods: CPS 85, I clicked over and was just Amazed by the beautiful card Debbie had made, and of course by the Stunning stamp image she used...it took me all of about 3 minutes to have the stamp paid for!!!
Here is my first try with this stamp...I hope to make all of my Baird Family Christmas Cards with it...I think they will all get a warm feeling from it...it sort of makes Grandpa a part of the holiday again for me.
All of the color on the santa and trees was added with a Q-Tip, sort of like sponging...
