Waiting for Santa...

I live to hail that season by gifted one foretold, when men shall live by reason, and not alone by gold. -George Linnaeus Banks

Happy Thursday!! Time for another Elzybells BiWeekly Challenge reveal...this time around we made Christmas/Holiday cards using Red, Green and Gold. I am not a big Gold fan and don't have alot of gold stuff in my craft room...I decided to use my Brushed Gold cardstock from SU and a scrap of gold sheer ribbon I had to just add some gold touches to this card...

I used the Sleeping Reindeer image for this card...I think he looks like he fell asleep waiting for Santa to show up! :) I matted the image and sentiment with the Brushed Gold CS and also added a tiny strip on the ribbon to hide the seam where the two different Wassail papers meet. The button and ribbon strip both have a small gold ribbon bow on them.

Supplies:
Stamps: Sleeping Reindeer,
A Very Merry Christmas (Elzybells)
Paper:
Wassail (Basic Grey,) Always Artichoke, Brushed Gold, Stampers Select White (PTI)
Ink: Graphite Black Brilliance, Copic Markers
Misc: Button, Sheer Ribbon, Stardust
Stickles, Beeswax Shimmerz

Don't forget to check out the other Design Team creations on Elizabeth's Blog...and if you create an Elzybells project using Red, Green and Gold link your creation to her blog as well!!!
