Cupcake Carrier...

The poet and the politician have this in common: their greatness depends on the courage with which they face the challenges of life. -John F. Kennedy

This week's Blogger's Challenge was to make a Valentine...I had made some Mini cupcakes for my son's 1/2 Birthday and it gave me the perfect opportunity to try out something I had been thinking about for weeks. My friend Debbie recently mailed me a Martha Stewart Treat box with a challenge to decorate it. As soon as I saw the for individual scalloped boxes I wondered if I could turn them upside down and make a little cupcake box.

I embossed some Pretty in Pink CS with the Swiss Dots CB folder, cut them to 3x3 and then using a small scalloped Nestibilities Die, cut a hole in the center. I attached them to the bottom side of the 4 cups and then cut a hole in each cup. I just added Sticky gems to the corners of each of the little cupcake nests, as well as all around the edges of the larger box. I added a ribbon tied in a bow and then punched tags from Red and pink paper, stamped an A Muse sentiment and embellished it with an Inkadinkado heart and I was done...all it needed was the cupcakes!

Supplies:
Stamps: Hearts (Inka,) Sweetest (A Muse)
Ink: Basic Black, Cat's Eye Queue Liquid Chalk
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Red Textured CS
Misc: Sticky Gems, Ribbon, Tag Punches, MS Crafts Box, Circle Nesties

Thanks for stopping by!!
