I'm just Glad Cows Don't Fly...

He who wants milk should not sit in the middle of a field and wait for a cow to back up to him -Proverb

I made a quick Birthday card for a co-worker to give to her firend...her friend used to live on a Cattle ranch and they used to sing this chant as children:

Birdie, Birdie in the sky
Dropped a poopie in my eye,
I don't fret, I don't cry,
Me just glad cows don't fly!

I have NO cow stamps, but luckily I had recieved this image as a Wish RAK ages ago, not sure who makes it??? I followed Mojo Monday #76 for the layout, just tipped it on it's side...I used Basic Grey Cupcake paper and rounded all the corners of all the layers for the Basic Grey Challenge this week, All Round...No Right Angles! :)

I printed the silly little chant and mounted it on the inside!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Unknown (Wish RAK)
Paper: Textured Card (DCWV,) Cupcake (Basic Grey)
Ink: Copic Markers
Misc: Ribbon, Jewels

Thanks for stopping by!

  4. LOL - Here's the version we used to sing:

    Birdie, birdie in the sky
Let a white wash in my eye
    I didn't laugh and I didn't cry
I'm just glad that cows don't fly.

    Thanks for the memories!

  7. I'm very glad they don't fly either because I know how much they smell having lived backing onto a dairy farm in my youth LOL! Fantastic card Rachel and I love the image, I think it's a Penny Black. You found the perfect BG paper to go with it too. I bet the recipient loves it. Chris :)
