Send in the Clowns...

Dare to wear the foolish clown face. -Frank Sinatra

It's New Release time at Artistic Outpost!!! This month I got the pleasure of playing around with Clowns! :) The new Plate is called "Send in the Clowns."

A note from Artistic Outpost:

"Send in the Clowns" is the newest release from Artistic Outpost featuring vintage images of lovable, funny, clowns. Our clowns are not creepy and they are definitely not scary. This collection comes in both unmounted (8.5" x 5.5") sheets as well as precut, mounted on EZMount foam, and packaged on their own printed and indexed storage sheet.

All images are designed to also coordinate with our Vintage Circus collection. We are just in love with this collection, and we hope you are too.

As a preview special, when you buy "Send in the Clowns" ($12.00) you will also get a FREE coordinating collage sheet professionally printed on card stock. This sheet features more circus images including vintage posters and advertisements. This special is good through March 25th.

Vintage Circus and Send in the Clowns is also bundled together at the special price of $20 (unmounted) and $30 (mounted). These special prices are good through March 25th as well."

My first sample uses one of the clown images (there are lots of other coordinating images as well.) I colored the clown with Copic Markers and did a pretty simple layout on Kraft paper, I used a bit of Basic Grey Cupcake paper (which has less to do with Cupcakes than it does with the Circus, if you ask me!) I love this sentiment, I think we could all learn a life lesson from this..."Dare to wear the Foolish Clown face." I mean, really, everyone needs to be silly and foolish every once in a while, keeps you young!
