Carolers in July...

I heard the bells on Christmas Day; their old familiar carols play, and wild and sweet the word repeat of peace on earth, good-will to men! -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

It's Friday, which means Blogger's Challenge time...this week the challenge was to use stitching...I have a Janome Sew Mini, but I just rearranged my crap room (errrr, craft room) and didn't feel like dragging the thing out and finding a place to put it....I so need to rearrange the new rearrangement, so I decided to go with Faux Stitching. So, I made a card using this week's SCS Sketch and the 3 Clover's Thursday Challenge of Christmas in July, put it together and LOVED it, then realized I forgot the stitching...LOL! So I made another one, this time remembering to pierce the image panel before it was all glued together. :) (I'll show you my other one tomorrow!)

I colored this image while I was camping earlier this month so I had to scramble to find paper to match. I went with the blue and greens from the October Afternoon Good Cheer paper pack and added a touch of the music paper also (you can Just see the strip peeking out along the bottom.

I added
Stickles and liquid pearls to the image and some stickles to the Snowflake Punch, this image is so pretty all by itself that it didn't really need much else.

The inside is just a few scraps (including the piece I punched the snowflake out of) and a simple little Verve stamp I got last year...
Supplies:
Stamps:
Carol Singers (Elzybells,) Winter Wishes (Verve)
Paper: Good Cheer (October Afternoon,) Purple Textured CS (Bazzil,) White CS (PTI)
Ink:
Tuxedo Black (Memento,) Copic Markers
Misc:
Stardust Stickles, White Opal Liquid Pearls, Snowflake Punch, Button, Mat Stack, Paper Piercing Tool
