Challenging Challenge Cards...

If death meant just leaving the stage long enough to change costume and come back as a new character...Would you slow down? Or speed up? -Chuck Palahniuk

I worked on a few challenge cards this weekend. A co-worker was looking for Thank You cards, including 3 for men...CHALLENGING! Man cards are Tough!

I used Taylor's sketch for this one, along with a previously uninked Unity stamp, Oaky Doke Tree, The paper is from the Mark's Paper Co. Old Fashion Courtship Collection.Super simple and blank on the inside for lots of room to right...just a little more of the same paper...
For this Tall card I CASEd this week's Featured Stamper, Stamp Muse, the leaves are from a set I won in a Blog Candy draw, from Firecracker Designs...I just did a simple sponge on each leaf with Rich Cocoa Memento ink and then sponged the rest of the panel with Creamy Caramel...the bottom panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug Folder and the sentiment is a rub-on. The picture is not that great, I took it at night, sorry! And last but not least I made a more feminine Thank You using June Bug Paper and Chipboard using this week's Sketch for you to Try. The sentiments inside and out are Verve and I just added a few Pearl Dots to spice it up a bit...

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. All pretty cards Rachel, love that tiny little thank you sentiment on that first card! As to the movie, yeah, sad ending. :( Bummed about that, they kind of made it where you thought he "might" live, but that didn't happen! Darn! I only read up to when they got married, so about half way. My SIL didn't like the movie at all. Eric was well worth seeing it for though! ;)
