Fintastic Birthday...

Iron rusts from disuse; water loses its purity from stagnation ... even so does inaction sap the vigour of the mind. Leonardo da Vinci
Good Morning! How is everyone's Monday going??? Don't you just Love Monday? :) LOL!!!

I was able to get some stamping done this weekend (very prouds of myself!) The first thing I Had to do was a special request from a co-worker, she has a friend who LOVES fish and asked for a Birthday card, I pulled out my Down by the Pond set (LOVE this pretty little Goldfish!) and colored the fish with Copic markers, then got busy looking for paper. I know, you are all cringing inside...I hear it all the time... "You have to find your paper First, Then color the image!" That isn't how I work though, I wanted my fish to look like a Goldfish, so coloring her first is essential, that is why I collect so much Patterned Paper, I know one way or another I Will find something to match! LOL :) I got lucky this time and had the Perfect paper in my scrap drawer...I love the colors of this Bella Blvd Roundabout paper and the circles kind of bring to mind bubbles in the water.

The layout is Taylor's sketch for this week. The fins on the fish are stamped twice and curled up a bit for some dimension and the sentiment is computer generated.
Here is a close up look at the fins...

Supplies:
Stamps:
Down by the Pond (The Greeting Farm)
Paper:
Roundabout (Bella Blvd,) Orange Zest, Ripe Avocado, White CS (PTI,) Textured Card (DCWV)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento,) Copic Markers
Misc:
Dew Drops, Glitter Brad, Twill Ribbon, Stardust Stickles, Foam Adhesive Dots, Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch

Thanks for stopping by!
