Indian Summer Anya...

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all. -Stanley Horowitz

I finally got back to my crafting table and was able to sit up long enough to make an entire card, it feels good to be pain free again, 3 days is so long when you are in pain and unable to do the things you want to do, need to do and the things you didn't realize you should do until you have 3 days to think about it!

I figured the First thing I needed to do was make a card for my own challenge, so I used THIS cupcake for inspiration...I went with the feel as much as the colors, the cupcake seems very FALL to me, without being Overtly Autumn! (Does that make sense???) I chose Indian Summer papers by Basic Grey and took my colors from there.

The layout is Jen's latest SFYTT, I had fun with the different paper strips and decided to pull out some PTI Vintage Buttons for accents. The pretty little pearl swirls are cut from a larger
Zva Creative Flourish, I LOVE the new pearl ones that just came out! The image is from the Dressy Anya set by The Greeting Farm.

The sentiment on the inside went a little wonky, but I decided I liked it! ;)
Supplies:
Stamps:
Miss Dressy Anya, Butterfly Sentiments (The Greeting Farm)
Paper:
Indian Summer (Basic Grey,) Scarlet Jewel, White CS (PTI)
Ink:
Tuxedo Black (Memento,) Chalk Ink, Copic Markers
Misc: Vintage Buttons, Prima Flowers,
Zva Creative Pearls and Flourish

Thanks for stopping by!
