Creative Cuts & More Mega Recipe Blog Hop...

Welcome, today is the second day of the Creative Cuts & More Mega Recipe Blog Hop which features the Apron Holiday Treats Recipe Kit. There are 24 designers sharing some Amazing pages and yummy Holiday Treat recipes.

As part of the celebration CC&M will be having a great sale. For the next six days, we will offer
20% off the entire store. But act quickly, it is only for six days – this sale will end on Nov 14th. Make sure you enter this code recipebloghop2009 during checkout.

As a continuing part of the celebration CC&M will, of course give away some Great Gifts!! Each day there will be a give away of one of the kits. Here is the twist – go through the blog hop, leave wonderful comments for the great designers, then after you have finished the blog hop, return to www.diecutdiva.com and instead of leaving a comment, share a recipe and you will have a chance at winning the kit. Share the recipe on your blog and link it back and get another chance to win the kit. Help us make this a super sweet recipe swap!!

The kit includes everything you need to make a Super Fun Apron Recipe Kit, but you can easily add your own stamped images, sentiments and embellishments to really make it your own!

Here are a few of the pages of my kit...the cover ( added some stickles, black crystals a little gingham ribbon and a few punches to what comes in the kit.)

Here is the first page, featuring on of my favorite easy peasy Holiday treats! (I added a touch of stickles, a snowflake punch, more ribbon and a PTI Snowflake stamp to the kit for this page)

I decided to journal a little about each recipe, maybe my son will keep this when he moves out????

And here is the recipe a little more legible...

Butterscotch Haystacks

2 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels

1 (6 1/2 oz.) can peanuts

1 (5 oz.) can chow mein noodles

Melt morsels over medium heat. Stir in peanuts and noodles. Spoon onto wax paper. Shape into haystacks. Allow to harden, Enjoy!

Next you'll want to Hop on Over to Ellen Sosnoski's Blog and check out what she is sharing!!!
