Misted Unity...

In order to understand life it is not only necessary not to be indifferent to men, but not to be indifferent to flocks, to trees. One should be indifferent to nothing. -Remy de Gourmont
Happy Friday!!! I actually have a card to share today!!! Shocking, I know! Wait, it gets better! I have TWO cards to share today! :) Today is Blogger's Challenge Friday and this week's Challenge was to use a Technique, any technique and link to a tutorial. It is also Friends with Flair Friday at Unity so I combined again! I chose some of the solid images from Everythings Simply Tiny (OK, next week I promise to use a different set! :D) I used two different techniques for these, they are my favorite techniques for solid images, first I inked the stamps up using the Rock 'n Roll Technique, then I used the Misting Technique to blend the colors before stamping.
The layout is
Mercy's Sketch. I added some stickles to the inside of each flower and covered the leaves with Diamond Glaze to give them that Shiny, Tropical look...
For the inside I used more of the Trellis patterned paper and stamped another flower in the corner...
While I was waiting for the Stickles and Diamond Glaze on the first image to dry I broke out the little stand of pine trees also found in the Everythings Simply Tiny Kit and decided to make another card! :) I added a few snowy details with a White Gel pen and some Stickles, then *decorated* one of the trees with Crystal Dots (colored with Copics.) The paper behind the image and on the card base is a Gorgeous Woodgrain from the Nutmeg Paper Pad...
I added a matching tree to the lower right corner on the inside of this one, too...
Thanks for stopping by!!
