Steampunk Christmas...

Every time I see an adult on a bicycle, I no longer despair for the future of the human race. -H.G. WellsThis week Simply Betty is sponsoring the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge and Betty let each of the Sweeties choose an image to play with. When I saw that she just released a line of Steampunk images I HAD to grab one for the challenge.

The images are very detailed, so I printed it a little larger than I normally would and fussy cut around the finished image. The card measures 5" x 5" and barely fits the image. I used Amy Young as my inspiration for how to add an image to a card with no built in layer, I am used to having my image firmly attached to an oval or a rectangle of white or cream! :)

I used a Woodware USA sentiment for the inside, plus a Holly by Denami...

Supplies:
Stamps: Emma (Simply Betty,) Traditional Christmas Greetings (Woodware USA,) Small Solid Holly Leaves (Denami)
Paper: Wonderland & Oh Joy (Cosmo Cricket,) Good Cheer (October Afternoon,) Dark Chocolate, White CS (PTI)
Ink: Printer, Copic Markers, Old Linen Distress Ink, Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Misc: Dyed Seam Binding Ribbon, Paper Poinsettia, Pearl Brad
