Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall. ~Larry Wilde
I quick Christmas tutorial...if you want your whole house to sparkle and shine for holidays like Jack Frost just blew through, all you need is a bottle of superfine glitter and a few Christmas Ornaments. I tried it...it worked!!
OK, all kidding aside, I LOVE these Glitter Ornaments and wanted to make some for an upcoming Craft Show. Also, this week's Blogger's Challenge is Ornaments. So, I grabbed my Re-inkers, some clear ornaments I had stuck away in my alterable cabinet. (Yeah, it's not just a drawer...it has multiplied...it is now 3 drawers!)
I didn't reinvent the wheel here, AmyR's tutorial for these can be found HERE.
I took photos on the Christmas tree, individually, so I apologize now for this photo heavy post. I wanted to show them all twinkly and pretty on the tree, but also show detail, so at the bottom are some shots with flash, just click on any of the pictures to see them full size.
This one is a Clear Acetate Ornament with some faux snow in it...
Here is what they look like in the light of day...
