Mondays mean Woodware USA Challenge here at Hopes Stamps Eternal and this week the challenge was to use Pink, Red and White. I guess the Challenge was harder than I thought, because I had to cheat a little and use Burgundy as my Red! ;) I really wanted to use this paper and so I convinced myself it was red enough!!!
I used the Waltzing Mouse Sketch for the layout, pulled out my sewing machine to quilt the little pieces then just added a ribbon, roses and a sentiment from my newest Woodware USA acquisition, Circular Greetings. I also threw in two pieces of a fun sparkle spray that my friend Piali sent me this Christmas.
Here is a detail shot of the roses, you can just see the ends of the fun little spray...
Supplies:
Stamps: Circular Greetings (Woodware USA)
Paper: (Basic Grey,) White, Scarlet Jewel (PTI)
Ink: Black (Memento,) Ruby Red, Pretty in Pink (SU)
Misc: Plastic Bead Spray, Saddle Stitched Ribbon, Zva Pearl, Zva Paper Rose, Prima Paper Rose
Challenges:
Woodware USA: Red, Pink & White
Waltzing Mouse:
Glenda's Random Amusing Challenge: Use Red
Scrap-Creations: love is in the air
Creative Cottage: something new
Southern Girls: Totally Loved Up
Sassy Studio Designs: use something that is over a year old (Paper Pad)
