Thanks a Bunch...

Flowers seem intended for the solace of ordinary humanity. -John RuskinReady for a Color Challenge?? This week's Anita Be Stampin challenge is a Super fun color combo! I have to admit my first thought was...Ummmm, HOW? But then I gathered my paper and started seeing ideas...this is a really gorgeous combo! I grabbed some scraps I had on my table from some older, retired Imaginisce papers and my Bears & Bunches set.

I have been seeing some gorgeous cards with images not being colored in, so I started with that idea. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and stamped the bear on Vanilla paper. I couldn't do it though...I had to have SOME color. I decided to just add a touch of color with my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I wanted to add a Ruffled paper trim sewn on the card like in this week's Catered Crop Recipe...I didn't follow any real instructions, but I think it came out pretty cool! :)

Here's a peek at the ruffled paper...
Supplies: Stamps: Bears & Bunches (Anita Be Stampin)
Paper: Twitterpated (Imaginisce,) Kraft, Hawaiian Shores, Vanilla
Ink: Distress Ink Vintage Photo and Old Paper, Pencils, Gamsol
Misc: Vintage Button, Divine Twine, Twill Ribbon, Starust Stickles, Zva Creative Pearls, Sewing Machine, Scallop and Regular Circle Nesties
