Wish-RAKs

For those of you not involved in the SCS Wish-RAK and RAK Group, you should really get involved!! The RAK group is a wonderful way to spread the love and smiles of handmade cards to strangers...but be careful, these ladies don't stay strangers for long...friendships are bound to happen with that many smiles criss-crossing there way across the world. The Wish RAK section is an amazing way to "Try On" a stamp, punch or set before you decide to buy, or if you just need 1 -2 images...check it out, just click on the link that says Join a user group, it is on the left side about 1/2 way down.

Tonight I played with a few of the images I have recently received, an Inky Antic turtle stamp and the new Stampin' Up Designer Label Punch. I also cut (or tore actually) right into a new sheet of Chatterbox Patterned Paper I bought today.

This little guy is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Mineral Spirits, then punched with the Mega Circle Punch and layered onto a Giga Scallop Punch of the TAC Tutti Fruitti Paper, the Crosshatch Background is stamped in Gable Green on Gable Green Paper, then I put a little dot where each line met with a Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen (Love these!! Thanks Edie!!!) The little Celebrate sticker is from the Target $1 Spot and was part of a little gift bag from a fellow SWISS swapper (Thanks Tracy!!!)

Mmmmm, Chatterbox Paper!!! I love this new paper I picked up today (On Sale!!!) the colors went very well with the Stampin Up In Color Cranberry Crisp and this textured card. The Cranberry edge on the Label Punch is just a circle punch mounted behind...the whole Punch is on dimensionals and the ribbon is tied thru 2 Horizontal Slot Punch holes. The berries are all touched with a tad of Crystal Glaze.

  1. I have to agree with you about the wish-RAK group! I really appreciate that you introduced me to it during the first SWISS gathering. :) Can't wait to stamp with you again!
