Entering a Card Contest...

Courage is the discovery that you may not win, and trying when you know you can lose. -Tom Krause

I have Very rarely submitted my cards to Anyone...a few here and there to Paper Crafts, none of which prompted them to contact me, so I am assuming they were not excepted. :S

Tonight, I decided, Why Not?? So....I submitted a card to Creative Accents and I may just make some up to send to Paper Crafts and Take Ten...Why Not?

My friend Edie and I challenged each other to STAMP instead of chat...I got 3 cards done...I will show you 2, since one of them was submitted. :)

Not sure what I think of this first one...it was quick, and the colors are fun, but I'm so hot on the ribbon....I did use up some Designer Paper!!!!

This one I love, love, love!!! The Stylized Flowers Embossing Folder is my FAVE!!! (Thanks Stacy!!!) I have used chalk and a QTip to get color on it before, but this time I used an Aquapainter and sqeezed (Squoze?) some ink into the lid of my Classic Ink Pad. The colors So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Regal Rose (All Stampin' Up!) are last week's Color Combo Challenge

  1. Love those embossing folders - you did a great job on both cards but my favorite is the bottom one. The colors are great!
