I don't know why I am posting this card...I made it for the Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge...I love the way the main image turned out...but I am not happy with the card overall...but I am posting it anyway...maybe as I look at it I can figure out how to fix it??? Maybe it is the Card base color??? Needs more Patterned Paper? Deeper color?? Ditch the gingham?? I don't know...but Something is off!

ReplyDeleteI think the layout of your composition is right on. I do think the gingham overpowers the paisley. That was my first reaction. But I think that little tweak will make it great. I love that this is an art for you and that you can see those subtleties. You're amazing! So want to have a card day with you!

Rachel, I love your layout (and the little flower thingie you put the card in, been looking for one of those at yard sales) but I think the DP needs to have some black in it to complement your image, which is wonderful! I like the gingham, especially since it is blue (my fav)!
