Cupcake Inspired Bird...

If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. ~Mark Twain

OK, I'll be honest, I do not like this card...in the spirit of this blog, which is to show my process and truth of my cardmaking, I am going to show it anyway. My excuse is pain meds and pain and too much sleep...but really I am embarrassed to admit how much time I put into this card! It started last night and I have Just finished it tonight at 10 pm...obviously there were a few naps in between, but this has got to be the longest I have ever stared at one card!

I am not sure what it is I don't like...technically speaking it should be fine...it has embossing, highlighting with ink, chipboard, stickles, Zva Swirls, pretty ribbon, but something is just Off about it!

I was inspired by the colors and textures of the cupcake and background cloth, as well as the watermark...LOL, funny, but true...that is why I chose the script embossing folder!

Supplies:
Stamps: Sentiment by Unity
Paper: Ruby Res, Blush Blossom (SU,) Shimmery Gold (?)
Ink: Sugar Candy (Elzybells,) Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Misc: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Taffeta Ribbon, Martha Stewart Satin Ribbon, Stardust Stickles, Zva Crystal Flourish, Basic Grey Chipboard, Crystal Dots, Loop Edger
