Simply Purple...

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one! -CS Lewis

A friend recently made a card for a challenge that included Only Pale Plum and Old Olive, when I heard the combo I was turned off...but she made a Gorgeous card and I just had to CASE her!!!

I pulled out my Simply Stated set and my Watercolor Paper...I used the Wet Paper Watercoloring Technique. It is pretty easy to do, just spritz the watercolor paper so it is wet, then stamp on the wet paper....I usually end up blotting the paper with a paper towel after I stamp to stop the bleeding, but you can play with the amount of water you spritz and how long you let it bleed. When the paper is dry you go back and restamp the image on top. I usually only ink the edges for the second stamp so I don't cover up all the pretty wet stuff.

I made this card to fit in a #10 Business Envelope, it is 8 3/4" X 3 3/4"

Supplies:

SU: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Old Olive CS and ink, Itty Bitty Backgrounds, Circle of Friendship, Hodgepodge Hardware, Organdy Ribbon, Watercolor Paper
Fancy Pants: Simply Stated
EK Success: Corner and Circle Punches
Bohemia: Sticky Gems
